For those who want to experience snow trekking, this is the best time to do this trek. During summer, from April to May, the richness and colorful landscape steal your heart. This is the perfect time to take this trek if you want to see the contrasting colors without dealing with freezing temperatures. October to November or autumn is also an excellent time to enjoy this trek.

How to reach brahmatal trek:-

The easiest way to reach the trek is to reach Kathgodam station, one of the region’s leading stations, which is pretty old. The station is easily accessible from all major cities of India, including Kolkata, New Delhi, and Lucknow. Apart from this, you can also reach Kathgodam by air. The nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport, located at a distance of about 70 kilometers from Kathgodam and is accessible by most of the major cities of India. Alternatively, you can avail. Most buses that go to Nainital usually stop at Haldwani, a twin city of Kathgodam.

Day 01: Rishikesh/kathgodam to Loha Jung:-

Height: 7,662 ft. Stay Guest House/Hotel. Drive: 230 km (10 hrs drive) from Kathgodam Bhimtal via Almora, Kausani, Gwaldam, and Dewal. Kathgodam to LohajungDrive:260 km (10 hours drive) from Rishikesh via Rishikesh, Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag, Tharali, and Dewal.Pickup Time: 06:00 AM at Rishikesh Bus Station/Kathgodam Railway Station.

Day 02:Lohajung to Gujarati campsite:-

Height 9,875 ft. Stay Tent. Trek: 6 km trek through village and forest.Lunch: At the camp.

Day 3 

Altitude 10,500 ft. Stay Tents. Trek: The 7 km trek begins with an initial steep climb for an hour, which opens into a meadow from where a slow descent to Brahmatal begins. Lunch: At the camp.

Day 04:Telandi to brahmatal lak:-

Altitude 12,100 ft. Stay Tent.Trek:8 km total trek usually takes around 7-8 hours to reach the summit and return. Lunch: Hot lunch.

Day 05:Telandi to lohajung via dumdum:-

Height 7,611 ft. Stay Guest House/Hotel. Trek: A 9 km trek usually takes around 6-7 hours.Lunch: Hot lunch.

Day 06:Lohajung to Rishikesh/kathgodam:-
