Antoinette Walder, a former aircraft mechanic, has won the title of Ms Health and Fitness in the 2022 competition. Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, Walder began working out after the birth of her first child, which helped her overcome postpartum depression. She believes that positive mental health is just as important as physical fitness.

She will be the face of Muscle & Fitness HERS and receive a cash prize of $20,000, which she plans to use to fund resources for women facing similar situations. She also hopes to reclaim her mental health. She strongly advocates for women who want to improve their health and fitness.

Angela Hendrix

Angela Hendrix, a South Tampa native, is a contender for the Ms Health and Fitness title. She has replaced extreme dieting and drinking with a healthier lifestyle. She has also repaired strained relationships. Her competitive spirit and clean, peaceful lifestyle have allowed her to qualify for the next round of voting.

Terri Burdan

A mother of a seven-year-old boy and a registered nurse in Pembroke, Massachusetts, Terri Burdan has entered the Ms Health and Fitness competition to claim the coveted title. After all, winning the competition would mean not only $20,000 in cash but also a cover in Muscle and Fitness HERS magazine. She also plans to get her hair and nails done!

Since 1999, Burdan has been a regular member of Pembroke Fitness Centre, a gym at Best Western, and Phaze 1 Fitness. She also plays softball for the women’s softball team and in mixed leagues in Petawawa and the Laurentian Valley. She has volunteered for various charities and organizations, including the Canadian Cancer Society and the Walk for Schizophrenia. After shedding a hundred pounds, she began to notice a change in her body’s flexibility. She later discovered that she had moderate osteoarthritis, a condition believed to be caused by hip dysplasia.
