Let’s travel on a bus tours Ohio and party like there is no tomorrow, it is our 40th birthday, after all.
Day 1: West Toward the Quad Cities
Our adventure starts with a leisurely drive west towards the Quad Cities. As we proceed towards our destination, you can take your time, sit back, and watch the beauty of the world go by. We shall travel in the afternoon, and book ourselves in a hotel to spend three nights in the facility. This offers you the opportunity to orient yourself, to get at ease, and to coordinate yourself for the challenging days that are to come.Â
Day 2: Exploring the Art and Heritage of the Quad Cities
The second day begins with a revitalizing breakfast before proceeding to the Isabel Bloom Studio. Here, you will have the opportunity to see how these gorgeous sculptures are created with your own eyes. Isabel Bloom was creative and passionate about making beautiful sculptures. Her sculptures are unique pieces that reflect her and her character. What makes this tour particularly great is that it allows viewers to appreciate the workmanship that has gone into the construction of a piece as well as its history. Perhaps, you might come across a souvenir that will remind you of the experience.Â
The next destination is the John Dheere Pavilion which is a must-visit, especially for anyone who has an inclination towards agriculture and machinery. That’s right! It is the largest agricultural exhibit anywhere on the planet. This is the place where you will be able to find out more about farming in the past, now, and in the future, as well as examine the great machinery. After this, it will be beneficial to go to the Deere-Wiman House, a historic structure. This house has stood the test of time, witnessing over 150 years of technological and mechanical changes. All things considered, it is an interesting insight into the history of the area.Â
Following the sightseeing, it will be time to go back to the hotel and change for an entertaining night. We are in for a real treat at the Circa ‘21 Dinner Theater for this one. Tonight, the show is The Addams Family musical. This is one of those funny comedies about love and families that takes some surprising twists and turns. A member of the peculiar Addams family has decided to tie the knot with a polite gentleman from a decent family. Think of the flipsides when Wednesday Addams introduces her boyfriend and his parents for dinner to the Addams family. This show is full of comedies and wonderful moments which makes it an unforgettable night. Following the show, we shall head back to the hotel to prepare for the next day’s events.Â
Day 3: Was a Day of Cruising and Celebration
For the third day of the journey, the visitors have the opportunity to wake up late and enjoy breakfast in the hotel. Have a leisurely breakfast and chill out in the morning because the star of our trip is the Celebration Belle Cruise. We will also have a chance to enjoy classical music as we embark on the Mississippi River cruise. This is an event that involves food, scenic views, and music. Pack some snacks and groove to popular songs as we sail along the river with friends.
After that, we will go back to the hotel to refresh and get ready for the evening ahead. Tonight, we will be visiting the Lavender Crest Winery – a beautiful place located in Northwest Illinois. It is nothing but the best place to spend the evening. First, we will go for a tour of a winery and get to understand the process of making wine besides taking some tasty wines. Then we will sit down and enjoy a great dinner. It is a wonderful day that calls for toasting our 40th birthday and the company of good friends. What a great way to spend the end of a super fun and exciting day.Â
Day 4: Getting Home with Unforgettable Moments to Cherish
Lastly, on the fourth and last day of our tour will have one last breakfast before setting off for home. What a great journey it has been – the memories, the jokes, the discovery. But as we move back and forth we will have lots of excellent topics to talk about the Mississippi River cruise quad cities tour. We had an amazing time from taking photographs of the lovely artwork at Isabel Bloom Studio to the joyful experience of having a cruise on the beautiful Mississippi. We will go back home with good pictures to take back and share with friends and we will look forward to taking more vacations.Â
